A countywide ordinance amending Title 22 (Planning and Zoning) to implement the Mills Act, which grants local governments the authority to enter into contracts with the owners of qualified historic properties who actively participate in the restoration and maintenance of their historic properties, while potentially receiving property tax relief. The Regional Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 to consider the ordinance.
