36 Hacienda Heights residents attended the third community meeting to begin to identify major community issues based on their observations. Participants broke out into seven committees that worked through a series of exercises to identify issues and locate them on maps. Committees were formed based on the areas of greatest interest for residents. At the meeting and independently after the meeting the committees worked together to address the major issues they identified, including listing and locating issues on a community map and developing an issue statement. The committees are:
1. Community Service | 5. Maintenance and Appearance |
2. Health and Safety | 6. Open Space and Recreation |
3. Housing | 7. Transportation |
4. Land Use | 8. Youth Planning |
