Event Summary / Additional Information
Members of the Youth Planning Committee conducted an innovative demonstration project to assess healthy food options and environmental practices in Hacienda Heights’ restaurants. Focusing on the central commercial area, participants took to the streets to conduct a survey and collect observations. Their results will be used to develop useful tools to support healthy eating and environmentally-friendly practices today and to develop policies to encourage them in the future.
