Los Angeles County Department of Regionalll Planning

GIS Data

GIS Data The Department of Regional Planning is making available several Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data layers for download. This has been done to enhance the delivery of services to the public and, specifically, the GIS community. These layers will be updated from time to time, and new layers will be added as they become available.

The County’s Enterprise GIS Steering Committee has established this site is to make high-quality geographic information simple and easy to find, while providing a forum for feedback, questions, and discussion about particular data. Los Angeles County will make as much GIS data as it can available for public use (i.e. FREE). In some cases, due to licensing restrictions, privacy concerns, or outside ownership, we are unable to do so. However, we will try to provide information about all of our data holdings, since there may be ways to access the data if you partner with the County.

So if you are looking for County Assessor GIS data, Public Works GIS data, Parks and Recreation GIS data, etc. It will be found there.

As of July 2020, all of the Department’s publicly available layers, are now on the new L.A. County Enterprise GIS Hub
The L.A. County Enterprise GIS Hub is the place to search for and download GIS data created, maintained, licensed, and stored by the County of Los Angeles
