Strategic Plan 2010-2014

The County’s mission, values and goals have guided the development of our mission, vision, and goals. We view planning as a key driver for the short–and long–term capacity of the County to implement its overall strategy. We strive to be effective and efficient in providing excellent service to County residents, developers, and applicants. Our efforts support the development of commercial activity, housing and neighborhoods that support strong families, especially in the unincorporated areas. We collaborate with other County departments to support appropriate and environmentally sound development, and ensure healthy and safe communities.

Our key strategic initiatives are mostly directed towards the Operational Effectiveness and the Community and Municipal Services goals.
