Willowbrook Transit Oriented District Specific Plan - Outreach



Timeline

The anticipated timeline for adoption of the Willowbrook Transit-Oriented District (TOD) Specific Plan is as follows.

Winter/Summer 2014 – Gather input on desired land uses and neighborhood development priorities
Fall 2014 – Development of draft land use policy map
2015 – Development of draft Willowbrook TOD Specific Plan
2016 – Completion of the plan and preparation of the environmental document
2017 – Completion of the environmental document and public hearings of the Regional Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors

Outreach During Plan Development

On January 8, 2014, the Department of Regional Planning introduced the Willowbrook TOD Specific Plan at a meeting of the Concerned Citizens of Willowbrook. The presentation is available below.

On March 12, 2014, the Department of Regional Planning received community input on what types of homes, businesses and other types of general land uses should be encouraged in Willowbrook at a meeting of the Concerned Citizens of Willowbrook. The meeting materials are available below.

On June 11, 2014, the Department of Regional Planning held a workshop on streetscape and building design at a meeting of the Concerned Citizens of Willowbrook. The meeting materials are available below.

On June 18, 2014, the Department of Regional Planning introduced the Willowbrook TOD at a meeting of the Best Start Watts/Willowbrook Community Partnership. The presentation is available below.

On June 26, 2014, the Department of Regional Planning held a workshop to determine the top neighborhood development priorities. The meeting materials available below.

On November 12, 2014, the Department of Regional Planning met with Concerned Citizens of Willowbrook to present preliminary concepts for land use, streetscape and circulation. The meeting materials available below.

On April 22, 2015, the Department of Regional Planning met with Concerned Citizens of Willowbrook to solicit input on zoning and development standards. The meeting materials available below.
